27 Jul $20,000 Back to Work PROGRAM Extended!
Exciting news! The Queensland State Government has extended the Back to Work Program, meaning that eligible Queensland employers could receive up to $20,000 under this scheme.
The Queensland Government has just announced that the Back to Work program has been extended through to 30 June 2021 or until the available funding of $70 million has been fully allocated.
Traditionally, Youth Boost has only been available to the employers of apprentices and trainees, however now this funding is open to employers who put any eligible young person between the ages of 15 – 24 years into employment that meets the funding criteria.

The financial incentives under the Back to Work program can be split into three different payments:
Employer Support Payment
Employer Support Payments of up to $15,000 are available for employers who hire an eligible unemployed jobseeker.

Youth Boost Payment
Youth Boost Payments of up to $20,000 are available for employers who hire an eligible young unemployed jobseeker, aged between 15-24 years.

Apprentice and Trainee Boost Payment
Apprentice and Trainee Boost Payments of up to $20,000 are available for employers who hire an eligible unemployed Queenslander who is undertaking an eligible apprenticeship or traineeship.
